Plans run online by default, but you’ll want to download them for race day so they keep working without signal.Tap Download
The plan details + map tiles for the route get saved locally to your phone. Map tile download takes longer than the plan itself — start it before you leave the house.
On race day
- Open the plan when you start running.
- The app shows you which segment you’re on, your target pace, what to eat, what to wear at the next checkpoint, and what’s in your drop bag.
- Per-checkpoint alerts fire as you approach each one.
- No notifications repeat — if you miss one, you’ll see it in the timeline.
Things to know
- Battery: keep your phone in low-power mode and screen brightness low. The map view is the biggest power draw.
- Watch integration: Apple Watch and Garmin support is in progress. For now, alerts come through your phone.
- Updates: keep the app on the latest version before race day. Updates ship frequently and the plan format may evolve.
